KARMA FINALLY CATCHES UP WITH DAN MARTIN!!
At approximately 4 pm on January 2nd 2008, Chief Nagy finally did what oh so many people in both Beaufort and Jasper counties have been praying for, and told Dan Martin to turn in his badge! This has been such a long time coming that I can't even think of the words to express what truly joyful news this is. Some may think that it's wrong to delight in the misfortunes of others, but if there's anyone that ever deserved this, it's Dan Martin, and I don't feel the least bit sorry for him or anyone that stood by his side. He got exactly what he asked for and exactly what he deserved. Some people lost faith over the last few months and thought he was somehow invincible, but this just goes to prove once and for all that what goes around, comes around. It just sometimes takes a little longer than expected. Beware all law enforcement agencies in the area!! Dan Martin will be tapping any connections that he might have and trying to get on with another department pretty quickly. Please be advised that he still resides in Georgia, just as he has for the last 7 to 8 years and he still carries a falsified SC drivers license. If you want a man that was quick to stab his own officers in the back including his own Chief whose career hung in the balance, then Dan Martin is your man. If you want someone who will take back alley payouts from a crooked city treasurer without batting an eye, then Dan Martin is your man. And if you want someone who is more than willing to get on national television and look straight into a camera and lie about police response to a murder, then Dan Martin is definitely your man. Ready for your comeuppance city council members? How about you Shane and Mayor Cannon? I believe March is just around the corner!!!!!! Better get those applications in!! Maybe you can all work at the Mayor's new club on the south end! 2008 is gonna be a great year!!!!

Karma's a real Mf!, Danno I hope you feel the same way our families did when you F----d all of your buddies, Most of us are back inside, It took some a long time to make it, I pray for my enemies and consider that you are one I pray that God helps strengthen you so that your ignorance and arrogance just leaves you and you become a better man. Danno you should be ashamed of yourself, when you look in the mirror you know what your made of, it's time to change yourself i'm sure you can't bare to look in the mirror and see what you became. You can do it Danno! Maybe if you go back home to where you belong you can touch base with your roots and transform yourself into a real man, or maybe that's why you left, who knows? I think Wtoc and the local newspapers should do a story on your situation so you could get the full effect of the embarassment you caused others.Justice is somewhat served. They might say they're your 'best friends', but the moment your back is turned, they lie about you to others. No one wants to be hurt in this way, but how do deal with them?. Perhaps the following tips can help.
All backstabbers share a common denominator; they all want something from you. Whether it is money, homework, a house to trash, your computer, or practically anything, varies from person to person.
Be aware of your surroundings. If you have a bad feeling about somebody, listen to your instincts!
Pay attention to red flags.
If somebody betrays you, don't trust that person again without extensive consideration.
If the other person doesn't have friends of his or her own, there may be a reason. Perhaps other people know something that you don't.
If someone is mean to you one minute and nice to you the next, there is definitely something wrong.
If someone is too aggressive or tries too hard to sell you on something, he or she is likely setting you up.
Trust your friends.They're here to help you.
Notice the other person's work ethic. If he or she is lazy and irresponsible, stay away from the person as far as anything that requires hard work goes. If you work hard, he or she will use you in a heartbeat!
Notice how he treats things you care about. For instance if you really care that your room is clean, and after you explained so to him he comes over, throws his backpack on the ground, takes his shoes off in the middle of the room and so on, that means he doesn't really care about you.
Try to detect from an early stage what the backstabber is interested in sucking from you.
If the backstabber persists in pestering you, either ignore him or tell him dispassionately that you do not want to do. Be polite, but extremely firm. If they detect a weakness in your firmness, they will try as hard as they can to puncture it.
Get away from these people as soon as possible and convince others not to associate with them.
Don't hesitate to ask questions. If somebody seems shady in any perspective, ask them about it.
There is a difference between friends and acquaintances. This means that even though he might be fun to talk at in classroom or at lunch,he might not be the kind of person you would like to hang out with after school.
Don't rely on the backstabber for anything, even the little things. In this way, you will avoid situations where you owe him/her a favor. This technique takes patience, practice and goes completely against your better nature. The backstabber will get the hint and move on the next sucker/victim.
Also do not tell them any secret that you want kept hidden, as they will tell it to another one of their "friends" the moment it will gain them something.
Treat him/her like you would any other snake. Be polite when in his/her area, keep to the path, and maintain your distance.
Make sure not to reduce to his level by saying untrue and bad things about him behind his back, as it will only spur him to action against you.
Never let the backstabber know that he/she has gotten to you.
Do not underestimate his power. Try not to offend or hurt him, but merely be polite and refute politely anything he asks that you feel you are not willing to give.
Do not get angry when he backstabs you. Realize from the start it will happen eventually, so don't form any deep relationship with him.

Do you really want to know the Truth??? Dan was thought to be part of the FAMILY at HPD for years..then this concept came about called TEAM PLAYER (City Manager)invented that concept..but really what is a TEAM PLAYER? Is it someone who plays out the wishes of the TEAM LEADER that utimately altered the lives of people that gave of themselves for years..people who had the opportunity to go other places even when the pay scale was low at HPD but they stayed and they worked hard for the citizens of Hardeeville. Gave of their time, their efforts, their family quality time to make sure the FAMILY at HPD could stand strong and stand with unity... TEAM PLAYER concept created greed, dishonesty,and the most hurtful of all...backstabbed the people that stood by you, but you wanted to be in the grace of the TEAM LEADER.. Dan I truly hope now you can't sleep at night..we (The FAMILY) Lost many nights of sleep trying to figure out how we were going to put our lives back together after giving so many years to one cause, serving with loyalty the people of Hardeeville..you helped to turn each of our lives upside down..but you know what we're still STANDING. You rose to the top and everybody knows just how you got there... Feel good about yourself now Dan.. you surely won't be walking pass us now with that smirk on your face uh! The tables have turned for you, and its not over for you yet, you will have to go through HELL for each person, and their family members that you caused grief to..Its not going to be easy Dan, it damn sure wasn't easy for us in the FAMILY, but we're still loving one another..something you can't possibly know anything about, especially when we all know you don't have a soul your past actions will be REVEALED more and more..I know you're reading this..stay tune..the BEST is yet to come Dan..

I'm back Dan..oh no I'm not losing any sleep over you..sorry if you think so..I get up early but rather than sit around and drink coffee I found something better to do..by starting to reveal the TRUTH about you..step by step..you know what that is about don't you Dan..unlike you Dan..I'm not up putting together a plan to destroy people..just one person and its not to destroy as much as its to let the truth be known...I found that some bloggers in the past were a little to easy with you and that might be due to the fact that they didn't feel the total effect of the grief you caused people in the Family..Dan I felt it full force I watched you bring down one by one people in my Family directly or indirectly..but each person's life that was affected had your name on it Dan! You were working overtime on your plan because you had to get a lot of us out of your way (so you could get to the top)uh? I know you have heard it said that people who had a near death experience would say they had their life flash before their eyes: WELL PUT ON YOUR SUNGLASSES DAN..I'm going to take you back through the plans you had for each one of us in the Family...the only difference is the full Truth has got to be told ...
Remember the day Hubbard came back from being forced to take off for two weeks? You, Eric,Jerome and TC stuck together during those two weeks as though you all were jointed at the hip..but I guess so as plans was being formulated by all of you to take Chief Hubbard down I bet you all realized that you couldn't trust one another so each of you had to keep an eye on one another.. damn shame..you all were working against Chief Hubbard but weren't sure who was working against you in your little team..in a way Dan you knew you had a better chance staying close to Eric and TC (for several reasons $$$--right)ummm you know Dan I can't even think of how that feels to be so low down... I guess the plan you all were putting together had to be put in fast forward especially when T Pollen found that (comp-time check that belonged to you wasn't it discovered later that Eric and Jerome got one of those checks too--what was the amount? $$$$.00) what I could never understand about that is if the three of you put all your work time together those checks over paid you all..help me with that Dan..keep in mind if you want to redeem yourself you have to come clean..if not today it will BE ONE DAY for sure... I know it had to be lonely on the top for sure when you made rank of assistant chief of police..but I bet its even more so now while you're in the PIT..(I remember the times you got on the phone saying "this is Chief Dan Martin with the Hardeeville Police Dept"--good feeling for you uh Dan)hell of a fall though uh Dan ole buddy ole pal. The Family discussed how lonely you might feel about right now (keep in mind we're still trying to come to terms if you have a soul or conscience) so you see we haven't forgotten you ole buddy ole pal..
So after that check was exposed which could have caused some problems you all had to speed up your plan..(Oh I almost forgot wasn't it suggested to fire Tony,he only thought he was doing the right thing by exposing that check?)I guess some smart Team Player realized that Tony could cause some real problems for each one of you if he were fired..umm
After Chief Hubbard returned and called you, Eric and Jerome and told you all to bring in your gear..you probably needed a (Depend) on uh Dan..didn't know what Chief Hubbard's plans were to be for each of you--I bet before you all got back to the office you couldn't call one another fast enough--especially after being told that Team Leader (let's not forget who he is) gave Chief Hubbard his blessings to do what he had to do..that really was one of Hubbard's best performances he really kept his cool..it was just amazing... When Chief Hubbard told Eric what he thought of him and what options he had..you were thinking about right then uh Dan..will he pick me or Jerome next..you remembered he picked Jerome over you before but you didn't know what was going to happen right then..how could he kick you to the curb and not Jerome..after all in your way of thinking you and Hubbard have the same skin color (we won't go into the whole race thing as you have on different matters..at least not now)so Hubbard can't go against you--thought you two were bonded because of that fact uh Dan--sorry ole buddy ole pal--the bonding comes from within and you don't come close to being of the same caliber of person as Hubbard (skin color and all) the whole Family feels this way..When he said to you and Jerome that you two had one foot already out the door and with Eric packing his things you knew you had to start thinking totally for self.. of course you would have to get the TEAM LEADER to help you..Dan I knew your brains were working in overtime to get a plan together..after all the $$$$ part of the plan was falling apart, you had to establish a position now with Eric out the door now...you had to get with TEAM LEADER to see where you stand so you could see how you would plan against Jerome and then Chief Hubbard...but being by yourself now you had to work on one at a time..you wouldn't give it a second thought of teaming up with Jerome cause by now you taste the TOP DOG spot you knew it was easy to get Jerome out, TC and Eric let the cat out of the bag on him early on in your game..he just didn't know it, the Team Leader discussed it many times. Even after Chief Hubbard gave you another opportunity to show your real loyalty..you stayed at City Hall even more..to be close with the TEAM LEADER..yeah that's got to be it I never heard of you being a ladys man but of course you have fooled me and others before...ummm... Dan was it easy to put that HIT list together of the officers that were slated to let go of..why I ask that Dan is because McIntosh (was once a special friend of yours)his name was on the HIT list.. Middleton would have been on it EASILY if he didn't want to comply with the time schedule, uh Dan..I wonder if Middleton ever forgot about that HIT LIST AND HOW CLOSE HE WAS TO BEING ON THERE..he did see that list you do know that Dan don't you....oh well just a little something to make you go ummmm! Or did you think you were the only one that could play the DESTROY AND CONQUER game especially after what has happened to you,haha ole buddy ole pal...I bet you get all into that TV show Suvivors uh.. You know Dan when you sell your soul to the DEVIL..you don't get any change back...haha ...I don't want to give up to much too so..the soup has got to simmer before it boils...stay tune--especially you Team player... Did you truly think that you could use the same smoke screen on Chief Nagy that you used on Chief Hubbard.. One of the first things Chief Nagy said there were certainly three ways to get terminiated if you commit something illegal,immoral or unethical,which category did you fall under (I won't use it against you I'll keep your secret)..shame on you Dan...the fact of becoming assistant chief of police must have clouded your brain waves for sure.. As for Dan getting canned, let me be the first to point and say...
HARDY HAR HARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Basically, all the people on Dan's "hit list" that Truth spoke of in the above post, were people that were smarter than Dan. He felt that they were a threat to him because they saw through his smoke screen and were vocal about it. Dan likes to surround himself with people who are on the same wave length as him, which means people who are just as stupid, or better yet, MORE stupid than himself. Take for instance one of the last hires that he brought on while throwing Jimmy Hubbard to the wolves. Dan promised this kid a job without ever having even met him and even went so far as to fill out the "new hire test" for him and lie to Hubbard about it. That test was something that basically tested the common sense, level of education and reading/writing comprehension of anyone applying for the job, so I'm pretty certain that even Dan would've had to use the answer key to take the test for that kid! Everyone in The Family knows who I'm talking about and Dan does too, but that's not what's important here because now that the kid's protection has been canned, he'll eventually do himself in. What IS important is that justice finally bit him in the ass and it's only a matter of time now before "Team Leader" Shane, (or as alot of us know him as...Coach), will get his just desserts as well.
Getting away from this particular blog for a minute...please someone out there look at the message that was left on the Fast Frame blog..if anyone can be of some help or knows someone that can help in this matter.. Team Leader passed on threats of termination if this was discussed..our identity apparently was compromised..why didn't TC and Team Leader want to be helpful in this situation? But I was not a Team Player for their sense of the term..I'm a Team Player for the people I served CITIZENS OF HARDEEVILLE and one way or another I will continue to prove that... my Master is the Lord above no man below... Those of us in the Family want the IRS/Fast Frame matter resolved..IRS was satisfied getting a letter from the owner..we never got satisfaction as to how it happened and we're not going to let it go away..not trying to be evil..We just want to know how it got out there and whose responsible just in case something comes up in the future that may have a financial tag attached to clear..

Well, Kudos to Chief Nagy for finally kicking Dan Martin to the curb. He ended up getting what he had dealt to many others, and did so with no concern and without a conscience. Justice did prevail and I just hope this is just the beginning of what is to come.

Each blogger that sent congradulations out to Chief Nagy you know that he truly deserves hats off and a standing ovation. None of us in the Family or otherwise are celebrating the lost of Martin's job..we're celebrating the ending of Martin's false impression of what Law Enforcement and what friendship stands for.. Yes each of us paid a HIGH price (many, many years damn near blood, sweat and tears) we clocked in each day of each month of each year loving what we did and that we gave our everything into the profession of law enforcement.
A certain person asked me once: "How is it that all the higher ups are gone and Martin is left standing". Well Martin you answered this certain person's question once he got on the inside and saw things for himself... I'm more than sure I didn't paint as a clear of a picture of what you stood for than you did yourself Martin.. You see Martin apparently you didn't realize a couple of things. One: being you didn't and probably never knew the TRUE meaning of the profession of Law Enforcement (professionalism,integrity,honesty,loyalty and to Protect and Serve) Second: you surely didn't and still don't know what friendship is, the kind that we in the Family extended to you many years ago...Third: you couldn't possibly know that Chief Nagy stood for professionalism, intergity, honesty and loyalty. How did you possibly think you were smarter than this man, ole buddy ole pal... I can understand that you didn't know the definition for any of the above after all you probably couldn't spell any of those words.... Chief Nagy didn't come in there to be your friend and guess what I found out early on he wasn't into hunting or fishing so from the start I knew you would have to try and come up with another kind of game plan for him...HA HA...that smoke screen didn't work for you did it Martin..ole buddy ole pal.. Yeah Martin we paid a HIGH price for accepting you as a partner in-law enforcement as well as accepting you as a friend. Martin, oh Martin we will never pay the $PRICE$ you will have to pay,the clock started ticking for you on 1/2/2008 and I will let you know when the clock STOPS!!

Wiley Coyote you're correct that kid you were speaking of in your blog was so blinded by the smoke Martin blew in his face... I imagin he was told something like this from Martin: I run this show, the only thing I have to do is stay tight with the Team Leader and I (ain't) got nothing to worry about. So of course this young man didn't know any better than what he was told. What do you think was going through his mind when he was taken out by his Lt. to lay corn for the deer in woods where Lt. goes hunting.. espeically on his first or second week into the job..I guess in his mind he said this job is the SH##, the Lt. took me out (where he spend most of his work time at)..I got to be in as long as I stick with Lt. I got it made. So much so this kid came back and bragged about it to his co-workers and when Martin found out about it he creamed this kid to no end..only for this kid to become one of his (Martin) spys.. I'm sorry I have to call this young person a kid..but you know what it fits him because if Martin told him to jump he said How High...No (man) that's a (man) risking his life each time he comes on shift is suppose to feel he is indebted to anyone in such a manner as this kid does..and the sad part he still thinks he owns Martin..He don't understand that Martin set him up for failure because without Martin there to cover for his inabilities then what's he going to do...He doesn't understand yet that especially in this field its an honor to be able to HOLD YOUR OWN, get recognized for the abilities you have not what is given to you especially when it's given to you by someone that when he can't use you anymore will spit you out like a piece of chewing tobacco..This young person has no business in law enforcement with the falsehood of what law enforcement stands for that he was given by Dan..and each officer that works with him knows he's not truly law enforcement material..with Dan there though they had to sort of speak bite the bullet and work with him,Dan knowing these officers had their own work and shift to cover,(not hold his hand or step up on an incident to take charge so the correct actions are taken)..but that was Dan, now Dan's spy is all alone...You can bet Dan is still using him so he can keep up with what's going on inside..and this kid will tell him..After all he feels like he owes Dan..it's a shame Dan you did this to him..right now he's lost without you...You trained him well:how to make people feel that their worthless--because he's the one with the gun and uniform, not teaching him, he's there to enforce the law not make it up as you go along with each arrest, and people do have rights--this is still America young man...clock is still ticking Dan..
Ha!! That's a good point about Dan using his hours at work to go all around the county putting out deer corn and fishing! That got me to thinking as well...What's Dan gonna use to take his family to Pennsylvania and everywhere else in the continental United States? For years he's been using his patrol vehicle and his city gas card, but now it looks like he might have to drive a car he actually owns instead! The laughs just never stop coming!!!!

That's a good point about the way the city operates. When Tony found that check, Shane Haynes ordered that he be fired immediately for no other reason than simply seeing the damned thing. The only problem was that Jerome White and Eric Washington, (both black officers), had just been let go with Shane's blessings. This meant that Shane was forced to let Tony stay on for a while so that the firings wouldn't appear so racially motivated. On the first day of Jimmy Hubbard's return after his "involuntary vacation", Shane was heard laughing at city hall and saying, "good riddance" when his mistress told him that Hubbard was firing Jerome, Eric AND DAN. But then when Dan was allowed to stay on, (for reasons that none of us can figure out), Shane quickly realigned himself with Dan in order to finish the job they had started in getting rid of Jimmy Hubbard. I'll guarantee you, though, that Shane Haynes today is publicly condemning and bad mouthing Dan Martin as much as he possibly can in order to appear as though he was never associated with all the illegal, immoral and unethical activity that went on there. Shane's primary motivation for that will most definitely be for two reasons...
1. The public outcry from Hardeeville's citizens for Martin's termination was deafening.
2. Election time is just around the corner. Shane's post is NOT an elected position, but a unanimous vote by city council could immediately oust him with no questions asked. Therefore, Shane has got to make certain that he still has a crony or two, (Brooks Willis or Bea Jones), sitting on the council to ensure that he still has a job this summer. Shane knows good and well that if a brand new council comes in this year, he's done. Only problem is, that Shane is such a hypocritical, deceitful liar, that he can't possibly think that even anyone on the current council trusts him any longer. He's made his bed just as Dan Martin did, and pretty soon he's gonna have to lie in it!
You're correct Wiley Coyote election time is right around the corner and what many may not know that's on council is that the buzz from within the communities is they WANT SHANE OUT....he's actually destroyed this community, that is the buzz...
When he put forth the plan to put Martin in charge did he consider the safety of the citizens in Hardeeville and why should he..he had adequate policing where he lives in Georgia...do you see him around and about town...has anyone at any of the churches in Hardeeville ever seen him and his family visit and fellowship with them on a Sunday...many Sundays I go and fellowship at other churches in and outside of the community..and the reason I say that Shane actually had me believing he was truly into religion..his quotes from the Bible, his quotes from spiritual books, etc...but I was also taught that he who crys out Holy, Holy, Holy all the time is not necessary Holy...granted he has a job to do and he is not to let friendship and work overshadow one another..but you know what when you act as judge and jury and don't give a person the opportunity to defend themselves how can you sleep at night..but he told us he has no problem sleeping at night which tells me something else about him...
I actually speak with people that has lived here for years that feel when they walk in City Hall there is no sense of warmth there..new faces, which doesn't bother them as much as how unbusiness like they have been treated..a lot of times people walk into a place with jitters anyway and it all depends on how they are greeted and how their questions are answered that could make the biggest difference in the world.. I am told many times by people who feel that when they come in my office they feel like their problem would not matter or be a big deal, but upon leaving they have a new sense of being assisted with whatever they are going through and most of these people are strangers to me, but they leave my office like we're old friends..that is partly because I know part of my salary comes from their hard working money and to me my job is more than a job...its dealing with people that are seeking some kind of help to a problem..but why should we here in Hardeeville matter to those people at City Hall after all we're not spending the big bucks, we don't get the red carpet rolled out for us and the newspapers making a big deal out of us..we're just small time folks..some of those people at City Hall need to remember before they started rubbing elbows with the money-people it was US little folks that put them in the place they are..
then There's ELECTION TIME again..um... The one thing I think they forgot is that we ALL have a brain, and can make intelligent decisions..I don't think many people are totally against change, its how you change that makes a difference..I keep hearing that they are doing what is better for us..could someone please break that down to me because I'm not seeing it..our elected officials have become so HIGH and MIGHTY they feel that when asked questions they can react with agrrogant and snotty remarks..What will they say to these same people when they go to them again for their support at election time..people do not forget in this town..they maybe slow sometimes in reacting but when they do..they speak loud and clear..I've seen it many times before..We have to unite and make sure that we remove those people that do not have ALL THE PEOPLE OF THIS CITY in their plans for the future,replace them with intelligent minded,people spirited individuals, especially people that are not deceitful and spitefully motivated and selfish, this town is not about being the KING OF THE HILL.. Surely new people will move here but I've seen evidence that most of the people moving here is just like the ones that are already here..willing to give a hand out..willing to make decision that everyone could benefit from not just a certain class...yes these people will be moving here from bigger cities and maybe once worked on jobs that paid High salaries, but they have come to a place in life that they want to feel the closness of People such as ourselves....some of that was evident when those former CEO's, etc moved here into Sun City..those volunteers came out by the dozens,there is more and more illiteracy programs than ever before and most of them operate on volunteer basis only..people are working at places like Deep Well to try to assist people to move up their standards of living conditions...We are those kind of people too....the people that we elect should be those kind of people...Last week while watching council on TV a resident said he was at City Hall several times to apply for a permit to build an additonal house on his family property for his son..this gentleman went there time and time again..and guess what it was only when he was in front of the TV cameras that he was given an answer that seemed to be somewhat reasonable..but he had a time line for his project and getting the run arounds only delayed that time line..no one at City Hall was able to give him the answer he needed to go on with his project for the betterment of his family..did it matter because..no one there knows him..they didn't know his passion for wanting to build a home for his young son, daughter in-law and grandchildren to help give them a start in life..so why should they care if he came to City Hall time and time again..Does anyone else out there know where I'm coming from? Another resident had to take it before council about a hazard on US 17 and Ulman..she was correct not everyone has the pleasure of riding or driving a truck or SUV that sits high..but you only have to ride around your town and take notice to some things. That shubbery has been like that for weeks.. why did this resident have to bring it to the attention of the people that are looking out for our best interest..no you surely can't notice everything..but surely that was very noticeable..your people that you speak of so highly Shane be out there all the time... I can understand that you don't notice you don't have to ride around town and take notice..its not your town, your family's safety is not at stake...
Like I said earlier we deserved better than what we had several months before Nagy took office..our lives, our children's lives, our neighbors lives deserved better..while Dan was sleeping in Georgia, Shane sleeping in Georgia, etc (you all get the picture)
Read the Hardeeville Today newspaper and read the comments that were said by Cannon as well as Chief Nagy..

Has anyone read the Hardeeville Today newspaper where it reports that City of Hardeeville loses right to the Web site: It says that the city's right to the domain name had expired. the city's name: www.cityofhardeeville.com expired Jan 2, 2008. On Thursday night the media director encouraged people in TV land to go to the web site to review documents pertaining to certain city business. When contacted he denied anything was wrong with the web site when questioned by reporters... AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW..IT WAS EXPIRED..ANYTHING SEND TO THE CITY BY E MAIL OR ANYONE VISITING THE SITE GOT A MESSAGE THAT IT HAD EXPIRED.. It gets better..when checking for futher information to do the story it was discovered that the document lists former Police Chief James D. Hubbard as the city's administrative contact for the site.. Now this is the $64,000.00 or more question... A person was hired as the I.T. person (who by the way replaced Jeff Broxton who left within a few short weeks after Chief Hubbard was fired)to oversee these things..so why did this happen? Could it be that within an eight month period of time on the job the I.T. man was placed in the position as this city's number 2 Assistant City manager...Makes one go um.. That's right Hardeeville has (1) City Manager and (2) Assistant City Managers. Let's do some research--any city in SC or Ga (just to throw that State in since it's getting our cities money)of Hardeeville's current size have (2) Assistant City Managers.. These are the things that need researching..our future is at stake with the money that being dished out..Check out some of the job descriptions on some of these positions as well..duplications have been noticed with some of them? And if Traditions largest developers has gone bankrupted whose paying some of those salaries (building inspector, assistant to building inspector, building zoning inspector, etc).. Election Time Is When???

Anyone catch the Bluffton Today article about Dan's resignation? It's in the January 8th issue and it basically says that he "resigned for reasons unknown". Not really much else other than Rodney Cannon saying what a "great guy" Dan was and that he really hated losing him. What a load of crap! Losing Dan Martin was the best thing that could've happened to that city, and Rodney Cannon acting like he didn't know anything about it is just ridiculous. Don't anyone bother going on the Bluffton Today website to blog about it, though. Rob Dewig will simply make sure your posts get deleted. Don't believe me? Why do you think there was a need to start THIS website up in the first place? Alot of factual information that reflected negatively on the city of Hardeeville was coming to light in the Bluffton Today blogs. This was happening not long after Rob Dewig resigned his post at city hall to work for Bluffton Today. Anyway, to make a long story short, Rob Dewig began a cut throat campaign of deleting certain posts in the blogs and even going so far as to e-mail Shane Haynes identifying any bloggers from the Bluffton Today site that worked for the city of Hardeeville. This, of course, was a direct violation of the Bluffton Today terms and conditions posted on their site, but that's a whole other story.

Someone really needs to watch out for BENROTH. He is the one you need to worry about, he is just like martin and got caught up in some bad crap with the Beaufort Co. Sheriff's Office.
Here's what happen...(see if this sounds like something Dan Martin would do)
Benroth made a traffic stop on Hilton Head and wrote a citation to a female. The female later made contact with Benroth and asked if the citation could be reduced.
Benroth then told the female that he would noll-process the citation if she went on a date with him (sounds like a martinizim). This caught up with him.
After hearing the comment by Benroth she reported the comment to a Hilton Head supervisor to which an internal affairs investigation was opened on the incident.
Benroth was then asked to take a polograph exam to which he failed and was terminated from the Beaufort Co. Sheriff's Office.
Can you believe this, did Chief Nagy know of all this when he took office. Did Chief Nagy also know that Benroth was hired by the Allendale Police Department and worked for a week and "QUIT".
Does Chief Nagy know that Benroth put false info on his employment history on his application, sounds like termination grounds even for the best of employees.
Think I am blowing smoke, or do I know quite a few high people in high places....want to know more about his job in Allendale....Jost post and I will answer.
