The Hardeeville Police Department fire yet another officer amid continuing power struggle.

Word has it that this new victim was an expectant mother which is very typical of hardeeville. Three of the last four female officers employed there were either fired or asked to resign only a few weeks after announcing they were pregnant. The fourth female officer quit because of problems she had dealing with a supervisor who, coincidentally, was later investigated and "asked to resign" amid misconduct/theft allegations.

Now you know you can't use big words like "coincidentally" on this site. Dan Martin might be trying to read it and have to have one of his kids help him. As for this latest firing, what do these new officers think is gonna happen to them after seeing veteran officers all the way up to the chief getting stabbed in the back and canned without a second thought? Do they REALLY think city hall and Dan Martin are gonna treat them differently? Every single officer that he fought against getting hired has now been "done away with" except for one. From what I hear, though, Dan and his newest cronie Middleton, (who, by the way, was publicly calling for Dan's firing back when he turned on Jimmy Hubbard), have already begun proceedings on trying to set that officer up as well. Guess as long as he doesn't get pregnant he'll be okay! LOL

While I find this interesting, and hope she sues under the provisions in FLMA, I am more curious as to the sudden departure of the fire chief, who resigned for "personal reasons." Whatever are they doing up there? Makes me happy I don't live in the city limits and will do everything in my power to make sure they don't ever annex my poor little piece of property. Don't those of you who live inside the city limits care? You do know what a recall election is, don't you?
