Picture of Brooks Willis' city phone number on sign.

Brooks Willis works in real estate part time and was liberal in using his City of Hardeeville mobile phone number for that job.

The attached photo shows Brooks' City of Hardeeville cell phone number listed on the real estate companies' sign that he works for part time.

Quite interesting!

That's odd...Judging from his picture on the left I would've expected his number to be Transylvania 6-5000 or something. His first phone number when he was a kid was probably something like 1 or maybe even 2.

seab said...

Is this really all you have? Sure, maybe it isn't the most intelligent thing to do, but is it really the HUGE deal you are making it out to be?

Anonymous said...

No, it is not all that we have.

Watch this site and watch hardeeville. Things are in motion behind the scenes and the results will speak for themselves.

Some things are about to come to light and those who have abused power or perhaps broken the law are about to see how far justice's arm extends.

Some things can't be posted here due to ongoing investigations. But we will report them as soon as we are able.

Yes Seab. This site is dedicated solely to Brooks' realty business. Nevermind the tax swindling, the backstabbing, the threats, the demorilization, the secret meetings, the extramarital affairs, the secret paychecks, the drunk in public incidents, the DUI incidents, the 'to be fired' lists, the ticket quotas, the victimization of the hispanic community, the back-owed child support payments, the undertrained staff, the racism, the exorbitant pay raises, the unkept promises to widows, the living out of state officer and the refusal of city hall to answer any questions posed by the public or the media...This is ALL about Brooks' phone. Sarcasm intended.

Once again Seab, you jump right onto things like this but never respond to the issues listed elsewhere on this site. Honestly, though, this phone thing should be of great concern to all the tax paying citizens of Hardeeville who are footing the bill for it.

seab said...

The issues that you say will be coming to light are much bigger than this silly phone issue. (although, I agree that he should not be abusing the city owned and citizen paid for phone)

I am finding it difficult to believe that you have SOLID proof of anything. If you did, I feel that you would come out swinging to prove you are right.

The problem seb is havingis the same one all of city hall and all city and county anlong with sate and federal office holders have a simply word

E T H I C S

none of them seem to know the meaning or that it applies to them.

Is the sign or using the number illegal maybe not but is it ethical Mr WIllis you are a Christian WHAT WOULD JESUS SAY about using public funds for personal gain.

COME on Shane this applies to you TO MR COOLER MR HORTON MS JONES MAYOR CANNON its time to stop the cames and come clean not that you may have done anything illegal or that you were arrested but ethically and morally is it right, WHo judges us GOD and where will you stand on that day.

Well Jesus they did not have the right to judge me it wasn't illegal but the Bible says what you do to the least. And if we have made mistakes ( for we all are human) running for office again has nothing to do with it. YOu need to confess your errors and seek forgiveness and then GOD's people can forgive you. BUt they can not forgive what you do not confess. Don't take it from me READ HIS WORK SEEK GUIDANCE FROM HOLY MEN AND ACT not just for HARDEEVILLES SAKE FOR FOR YOUR ETERNAL SOULS.

I'll bite - what does detyser mean?

Seab, I don't believe we can ever know someone perfectly, we make judgements on them based on their words and deeds. This is how we know whether we like them or not, what political party they are and what TV shows they like to watch. So if someone uses public money to pay for items for personal gain, what does this tell us about this person? What does it say about their ethics and morals? It says a lot more than 'ok so he does one bad thing', it says he is cabable of being dishonest with public funds. Do you pay taxes in H'ville? If you do does it bother you that you are paying for Brooks Willis private business? Would it bother you if the president bought a personal home with your taxes? Different scale, same principle.

For a person with no dog in this race, you certainly are mouthy.

seab said...

LOL! Mouthy? What can I say? I love a good debate and I call things the way that I see them.

Anonymous said...

and thank you seab for being mouthy and 'calling them the way YOU see them', cause it gives us more reason to bring things to light.....

Anonymous said...

I've said it before, I'll say it again...

If you love a good debate, please answer my question, and not sidestep the issue....

Does it bother you that your taxes are paying for personal gain of another man?
And does it bother you that your taxes paid for Shane Haynes' rear seat DVD player??

I guess your lack of response means I win that debate.

Don't bother Revolutionisfun. Saeb only seems to respond to whatever he sees as 'non-threatening' to city hall. His job here is apparently to derail the big issues and lead people into arguing about those things thereby ignoring the big stuff. He was asked recently about these issues...

"the tax swindling, the backstabbing, the threats, the demorilization, the secret meetings, the extramarital affairs, the secret paychecks, the drunk in public incidents, the DUI incidents, the 'to be fired' lists, the ticket quotas, the victimization of the hispanic community, the back-owed child support payments, the undertrained staff, the racism, the exorbitant pay raises, the unkept promises to widows, the living out of state officer and the refusal of city hall to answer any questions posed by the public or the media"

But he has yet to respond to them.

seab said...

My job here? oh please!

I respond to the issues that I choose to. I refuse to get in a pissing match with someone over hearsay.

Once again, there is no proof. They believe that they know who I am and that I will respond and give them the proof they need. Truth is that I am no one important and can not prove anything.

This site has been going for almost a month now, If there was proof I do believe that they would have presented more than has been shown here.

"the tax swindling"

The Fast Frame incident that was mentioned by the administrator. I have personally spoken to 3 of the people, (victims), involved and there is a BCSO case number issued where the incident was investigated. BCSO's conclusion? The "problem", (meaning illegal activity), stemmed from city hall in hardeeville, therefore must be investigated there.

"the backstabbing"

I think this goes without saying. There's just WAY too many incidents to list here. The primary one? Jimmy Hubbard.

"the threats"

Well, there were NUMEROUS memos sent out to officers threatening them with termination if they didn't write more tickets. Oh! I hear there's also a recording of Shane Haynes threatening termination if anyone talks. Not sure where to find that recording though.

"the demorilization"

Talk to ANY officer who is working there or any officer who 'resigned' from there in the past year. I think this website is pretty much solid proof of the demorilization.

"the secret meetings"

Dan Martin calling officers to meet with him in specific areas to threaten them with termination if they don't write more tickets. Or how about the memo from Henderson listing everyone the powers that be have decided need to be fired? Hell, the recorded meeting with Shane was in essence a 'secret meeting' due to the fact that he threatened everyone in the room with termination if they so much as spoke of it amongst one another! How can you possibly keep a secret between two or more people when they were at the exact same meeting they're supposed to keep confidential?

"the extramarital affairs"

COMING SOON!!

"the secret paychecks"

The lieutenant's $5,533 'comp time' check found in his patrol vehicle by another officer dated in February of 2006. I believe Rodney Cannon brushed this one off as 'irregularities in payroll'. Also, "the usual 80?"

"the drunk in public incidents"

Which one? The Waffle House incident was reported to city hall by a hardeeville citizen who stated, "If that's the way those officers are treated by their superiors then I don't blame them for leaving." The Wild Wings incident, (just 1 week later), was reported by several officers as well as 2 prominent business owners.

"the DUI incidents"

The lieutenant has driven his patrol vehicle numerous times while under the influence with subordinate officers. These incidents have been reported time and time again to city hall. The 'other' DUI incident was on John Smith road in hardeeville where a high ranking official was found slumped over his wheel in the middle of the road.

"the 'to be fired' lists"

Did you not see Henderson's memo? That was only one of many, though.

"the ticket quotas"

Officers were told to write a minimum of 10 tickets per shift. One supervisor was against this and only asked of the officers 5 or 6. THAT officer was later asked to resign. The one that wanted 10 wasn't. A memo was sent out with the 'letter to hardeeville business owners' from the lieutenant telling officers to write more. Basically it comes down to this...Ticket count first, public safety second. If an officer failed to write 10 during his/her shift? Public ridicule from the lieutenant as well as a threatening memo/meeting where termination was once again threatened.

"the victimization of the hispanic community"

COMING SOON!!

"the back-owed child support"

Just ask theunexpectedbill. The same thing also happened to Officer Broxton with the same mysterious circumstances. This problem cost those officers TONS of time, money, paperwork and stress including the possibility of having a warrant issued for their arrest and/or suspension of their drivers license.

"the undertrained staff"

New officers are trained on how to write a traffic ticket and then put out on their own within 2 weeks or less. This not only endangers the public but the lives of those officers and their fellow officers as well. Most new officers have very little knowledge of the city layout, business locations or even how to use their weapons.

"the racism"

There is currently a lawsuit pending against the city concerning this but it's not the only incident. One supervisor in particular has been heard by numerous officers through the years saying, "We've already got our quota of them." This would be in reference to any minority applicant.

"the exorbitant pay raises"

No cost of living raise for officers for over 2 years but yet an 11% payraise for Shane Haynes pushing his salary up around the $150,000 mark making him a legend in the state for getting paid so much to manage so little. He's also been known to brag about this and make comments leading one to believe that even HE knows his salary is ridiculous.

"the unkept promises to widows"

Just ask Deana Jones. I'm not gonna touch that subject without express permission from her but it was absolutely disgraceful the way that city handled that officers tragic death. I could go on about this one for a LONG time, but I'll just leave it at that. We miss you Mark.

"the living out of state officer"

Does the lieutenant have a legal SC residence as required by the city as well as the state to be a law enforcement officer? I don't think so.

"the refusal of city hall to answer any questions posed by the public or the media"

City halls filibuster executive sessions. The fact that anytime reporter Mike Gisick (sp?) would show up to ask a question, Haynes would sneak out the back door and go home for the rest of the day. Although, every now and then when they actually did answer a question, it would always come across as vague and was pretty much a dodge. There are PLENTY of newpaper articles to support this fact.

Seab, you may notice that some of the topics say COMING SOON. Well, take that just as it is. Nobody wants to show ALL their cards in the first hand, but restassure they ALL will be shown over time. As the administrator stated, everything has been carefully and methodically put together in a certain order and will be released in the same manner.

Yawn Seab,

Here is proof in red and white print, Willis is using his cell for private business. You cannot argue with that.

Here is proof Shane has TWO (Yes, I recently found out he does in fact have 2) DVD players in the back of his work vehicle. Peek inside if you dare!

The reason why you pick and chose your arguements is because you are presented with irrefutable evidence.

Back down.

It's Janet. Miss Jackson If You're Nasty. said...

Holy s**t Wiley!! Way to pull out the stops! Also, revolutionisfun, I'm glad to hear that everyone else is noticing Seab's picking and choosing as well as the way he seems totally oblivious to photos and recordings. He just doesn't seem to see or hear the same thing as everyone else. By his own admission he isn't associated with the city and hasn't worked there so what the hell does he know anyway? Nothing.

Seab,

Let's get some things straight...you are obviously trying to make things difficult for anyone who supports the concept of justice.

I will support the idea that you are just being difficult by your latest example:

"seab said...
I just love the way that you always seem to take rumor and display it here as fact.

So what if his house is for sale, does that mean that he is moving out of the city? Not necessarily!"

February 13, 2007 12:37 PM

This was in response to:

"Administrator1 said...
It's well known that the Mayor may not be running for re-election. His house is also for sale."

February 13, 2007 10:11 AM

I said "MAY NOT" seab! Does this mean anything to you?

The Mayor himself has said to me that he is thinking about moving to Myrtle Beach.

Also, the comment about him selling his house is just a seperate fact.

It is obvious what your agenda is and it is SO obvious that you must think we are uneducated rednecks and that your oh so clever posts will be our downfall.

I salute you for keeping this site going with your entertaining posts!

Oldtimer,

Thanks for your comments and you have raised a valid point re: taking issues to our council.

However, I do believe issues have been raised with certain council men. One such issue I am unable to mention WAS in fact raised concerning Haynes' behavior in city hall and was ignored by all but one council member and swept under the carpet. Once this information becomes public, I sincerely hope that h'ville will be sufficiently moved to demand Haynes' resignation.

But I also believe that it would have to take a significant number of people to make complaints and demand changes before the council will sit up and listen. Think about it, if two people make a complaint, the council members are not really in danger of losing their elected position. If a hundred do and issues make the local papers, council members will have to do something or risk losing their roles in the next election and a more suitable man or woman will be elected in their place.

This is why I keep coming back to the same point. H'ville must be aware of the events happening behind closed doors. Even if there is not irrefutable eveidence Seab, people need to be able to see what information is available and make their own decisions. City Hall will not volunteer their own bad practice and indescretions, so it up to people on this site and local newspaper to uncover facts, problems and behavior. Only then will a constructive decision and action be able to take place.

Pop-50, no offense but you've got to stop derailing this thing. I know that you're VERY aware of the goings on and wrong-doings and your input here is outstanding but PLEASE try to keep this headed in the right direction. Besides, I don't think Rob Dewig has any cats!
